Just purchased the m9 monitor and am only using it with ps5. Then highlight it and press 0000 which will reveal extra options. Most games i use game mode hdr. Web even when you cut hdr to only when supported on the ps5 system settings, if it detects that the ps4 or ps5 game has hdr function in it yet for whatever reason you want to cut hdr off in that particular game, the ps5 is going to do the auto hdr filter regardless. Not sure if the incorrect auto setting on the ps5 is a bug or not? It’s like the ps5 is trying to apply it twice. Turn off your tv and turn it back on again. Web if you can't get a bright enough hdr picture in your sunlit living room, go to the menu of your streaming box, head to its display settings, and turn hdr off. Also have given days gone a shot on ps5 with the 60fps patch and my god does it look so washed out! Hdr issues as usual with re and oled.

Web basically using automatic resolution with the ps5 connected to the hdmi2.1 port, when you turn on the tv the colors are all washed out. Most games i use game mode hdr. It's not a matter of calibration, the colors are simply incorrect, it's like watching a hdr signal in sdr to give you an idea. Connect your console directly to the tv. Web the reason for the issue is because you need to match limited on the ps5 with low black on the tv or full on the ps5 with high black on the tv. If you’re looping your ps5 to your display through an external piece of equipment, such as a soundbar or av receiver, and 4k hdr isn’t working. To do so, navigate to settings > screen and video > video output information > color. You can always switch it back to hdr. Then go to settings, go to sound and video. But somehow with re engine the hdr can look great but it's way too dark.
