Press muting or mute or (mute) or vol or (volume) +. I connected everything with an hdmi cable using the hdmi arc connection with no issues. Change the tv audio output setting to pcm and check whether the sound is output. I can't see what the model # is because my tv is hanging on the wall. These smart tvs are essentially computers. Make sure headphones or any other devices aren't connected to the headphone jack on the tv. When you restart pandora it will relaunch the app and you'll have volume.
